Deo-Volenté Simmentalers

The first stud animals were bought at the sell out of the Topliz herd in 2002. After that we focused on buying the best animals and top genetic line.

Currently the stud consist of 200 females and are bred in two seasons, 1 December - 31 January and 1 June - 31 July. The aim of the stud is to breed a medium size animal that is dark in pigment.

We focus on the weak points of the Simmentaler like hardness, long hair, soft hooves and the lack of pigment, to make sure that the animal are improving in these areas every year.
